Hello and welcome to the CHJS Fundraising Friends webpage.

Who are we?

We are a group made up of teachers and parents with children at the school.  Everyone is welcome and we meet a couple of times a term to discuss ways of fundraising for current/future projects.

Projects

Our current project is the Playground/Landscape Project.  Our aim is to improve the outdoor equipment and facilities.  Phase one has been done by creating a shaded area with picnic benches behind the hall.  These are to be used not only at lunch times in the summer months but to double up as outside class space. (Weather permitting.)  We have also been able to purchase further benches and parasols for the courtyard.

How do we raise money?

We help to raise money for the school through a variety of activities, these include Easter raffle, summer and christmas fayre's, school disco's throughout the year and many other exciting activities.

How do I become a member of CHJS Fundraising Friends?

No special skills are required, just a willingness to lend a hand at events and bring along any fantastic ideas you may have to help raise money to meet out goals.  Our children are very special and if by giving a little of your time to make these projects happen its well worth it!!
